A major reason I wanted to start my photography business was not only because I love taking pictures, but because the stories and memories held within images. My blog is going to reflect not only projects and events I am hired to do, but stories I curate through my own creativity with clients… things I feel are important or fun to document. When my creative juices flow, and for me… me and Madi did just that.
I reached out to Madi several weeks before the session and explained my vision. “big fluffy dress, cowgirl hat, horses.” and… she of course pulled off just that look. The sun setting behind her on her family’s farm, surrounded by their horses which help with her weekend rodeo travels, and of course her natural beauty really helped my vision and goal come to life! At the end of the session, Madi told me she was so thankful for the opportunity to feel like a princess in a big pretty dress.
We often get caught up in the stress of life and forget to just relax, dress up pretty, and take the pictures. I am thankful we got to do just that. Simple, bright, memorable. Checkout some of my favorite images from this creative session below.
